Patiala, Oct 05: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today said there were no differences between him and PPCC chief H S Hanspal and that media reports in this regard were "baseless and concocted". "They were good friends and consulted each other on every matter concerning the party and the state administration," he told reporters here.

On SAD president Prakash Singh Badal alongwith Akali Dal legislators and MPs meeting National Human Rights Commission chairman to complain of the government's vendetta against the party's leaders and workers, Singh said that his government was probing them for the alleged cases of corruption.
Referring to non-payment of farmers on account of paddy procurement, the chief minister said he had personally checked with all the procurement agencies to ensure the requisite funds had been made available to them for timely payments, to be made within a period of 72 hours.
