Bangalore, Oct 21: Syndicate Bank said today it has tied up with Allianz Bajaj for distributing the latter's life insurance products. The bank plans to sell 10,000 policies in the current fiscal.

Six insurance products were launched initially in 11 branches and it would be extended to 200 branches before the end of this financial year, the bank said in a statement here.

Manipal-headquartered bank said it plans to train 200 staff to effectively liaise between the customers and its insurance partner.
