Chandigarh, July 29: Continuing with its anti-corruption drive against former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Punjab vigilance sleuths have arrested Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislator from Joga, Jagdeep Singh Nakai, believed to be close to Rajya Sabha member and Badal's son Sukhbir Singh, on charges of forgery and corruption. Other charges framed against Nakai included that of nepotism and favouritism during his tenure as the chairman of Milkfed, the official said. Nakai, who would be produced in a Kharar court later in the day, is the tenth sad legislator to be arrested or booked under corruption charges by the Amarinder Singh government since its installation early last year.
