New Delhi, July 28: Punjab and Sind Bank today put in place electronic transmission of Bank Realisation Certificates to the office of Director General of Foreign Trade, in a bid to enhance the services in the export-import sector. The new system, which comes as part of bank's measures to implement the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), would enable the clients to get the acknowledgements on the same day, a PSB release said here. PSB is the third bank after State Bank and Punjab National Bank to successfully use the EDI software. Bureau Report
