Nasser Hussain, captain of the England cricket team, has launched an outspoken attack on young British Asians, saying that he was extremely disappointed that they cheer on India and Pakistan instead of their adopted homeland.
“I cannot really understand why those born here, or who came here at a very young age like me, cannot support or follow England. Following England has got to be the way ahead,” Chennai-born Hussain said, according to media reports.
The 32-year old Hussain, who writes a weekly column for the Sunday Telegraph said, ten days ago as he led England on to the pitch at lord's for the first test against Pakistan, the number of opposition supporters was overwhelming.
