Musharraf cancels Bangladesh visit due to `tension` on border

The decision comes in the wake of growing build-up by the armed forces of both the countries on the border areas of Kashmir and near the LoC.
Mr Musharraf was expected to pay a one -day visit to Bangladesh on his return from China.
Meanwhile, Gen. Musharraf currently on a five day visit to China is constantly updating himself on the 'border situation' with India following 'intemperate' statements by Indian leaders.
The Vice Chief of Army Staff Gen Mohammad Yousaf is constantly apprising the President of the situation on the borders areas and the LoC in Kashmir. Armies of both the countries had a 'fierce clash' a couple of days back in the border areas of Kashmir.
