Police remand for 3 co-accused extended in bribing Badal case
Kharar, Oct 20: A local court here today extended till tomorrow the police remand of three persons, who had allegedly `bribed` former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal through his alleged conduit Harbans Lal, former manager at Badal`s petrol pump, who had already been arrested in the same case.

Duty Magistrate R K Khullar ordered to produce Darshan Singh, Pavittar Singh and Sukhmander Singh of Muktsar district once again before Kharar Illaqa magistrate tomorrow.
The trio were arrested in connection with the case of corruption, disproportionate assets, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy against Badal. Meanwhile, additional district and Sessions Judge S K Goyal in Ropar granted bail to Narottam Singh Dhillon, Badal's cousin in a case registered by vigilance bureau against Badal and others at Sas Nagar on June 24 last.
He was ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond of Rs two lakhs and two sureties of the like amount.
