New Delhi, Oct 08: Two-wheeler maker LML has started a revamp of its dealerships in big cities to upgrade them to international standards besides reorganising its distribution network in small towns and rural areas. The company's Managing Director Deepak Singhania said the new 'LML Global' dealerships would provide customers with a modern buying and service experience as part of its strategy to be present in all segments of the motorcycle market.
"After having redefined the deluxe commuter segment in motorcycles with 'Freedom', LML is set to create another benchmark in the Indian two-wheeler industry by redefining the retailing experience for its customers," Singhania said at the opening of the company's first 'LML Global' showroom in Uttar Pradesh.
He said 'LML Centres' and 'LML Points' would be created at the secondary and tertiary levels of the distribution channel, depending on the population strata and size of the market.
As per the plan, the entire network would be raised to the 'LML Global' standards by 2004, Singhania said. Bureau Report
