Muktsar, Mar 31: Punjab police today claimed to have nabbed two couriers of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) and recovered 190 grams of RDX from their possession. Police also recovered two 12 bore pistols and seized the car in which they were travelling from Udaipur (Rajasthan) to Amritsar. On a tipoff, police laid a trap near Bura Gujjar village in the Muktsar-Ferozepur road, senior superintendent police Shiv Kumar said. When the police party signalled to stop the car, the accused tried to give slip but police overpowered them, he said. On interrogation, the accused, identified as Jhumak Lal and Pritpal Singh, both from Udaipur (Rajasthan), confessed of working as couriers for the KCF group (Panjwar), he said.
The SSP claimed that police investigations revealed that both the accused have links with Amritsar-based KCF activist Malkiat Singh and Daljit Singh alias Sukhchain Singh.
A search was on to nab the KCF activists, he said. Bureau Report
