Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 29: BSNL has made extensive arrangements for communication facilities at Sabarimala during the "Mandala Pooja and Makaravilakku" seasons. According to a BSNL release, STD booths by land lines as well as mobile phones were already opened in all important locations like Nilackal, Pampa, Neelimala, Saramkuthi, Sabarimala and Sannidhanam. Cellular coverage had been provided throughout the route upto Sannidhanam.
Excel (prepaid service) recharge coupons of all southern states would be available at BSNL customer service centres at Pathanamthitta, Ranni, Pandalam, Pampa and Sabarimala.
These coupons could be used by the pilgrims coming with BSNL prepaid connections from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the release said. Bureau Report
