Cong demands resignation of ministers facing Lokayukta probe
Vijayawada, June 30: Andhra Pradesh Congress today demanded resignation of four ministers and two MLAs allegedly facing probe into various charges by the Lokayukta.
Vijayawada, June 30: Andhra Pradesh Congress today demanded resignation of four ministers and two MLAs allegedly facing probe into various charges by the Lokayukta.
"The Lokayukta had recently announced that four ministers
and two MLAs were facing probes on various charges,” APCC
secretary Malladi Vishnu told reporters here.
"If those facing the probe resign, then the enquiry could be conducted without any problem,” he said.
Vishnu also demanded the government to constitute an all party committee to monitor welfare schemes announced recently by Chief Minister N Chandrababau Naidu.
He asked the government to publish a White Paper on performance of the Janmabhoomi programmes.
