Keane India to bag outsourcing deal from UK

company official said.
"We are expecting an outsourcing deal from Keane UK in December in the areas of SAP and Client Server," Parmindar S Miglani, MD, Keane India told PTI today. The size of the order was not disclosed. Keane India's 10 per cent revenues currently come from its US-based parent Keane Inc while the remaining come from Europe and domestic market.
"We are definitely going to see more revenue from the current level coming from Europe and from UK particulalry through our Keane UK," he said.
Stating that this should mark the beginning of the outsourcing deals from UK, he said Keane UK has priority of outsouricng work to Keane India.
The company has also some proposals from Italian IT companies on table in the mainframe and as 400 areas for outsourcing.
"We are hopeful of getting few deals from Italy," he said.
The company has also started its SAP practice and is also expecting some work on the same from US and UK, Miglani added.
Keane India has recently added 100 people to its strength and is planning to add another 150 by the end of the current fiscal who would be working in the existing areas, he said.
