11 Maoists, six security men killed in Nepal
Kathmandu, Dec 03: At least 11 Maoists and six security personnel were killed overnight in a cross-firing between the rebels and the government troops in southwestern Nepal, army sources said today.

Nepal, army sources said today.
The Maoists were gunned down by a joint team of security
forces at Pandong area of Kailali district as the troops
launched an operation against Maoists in their training centre
at the district, they said.
Four policemen and two armed forces personnel were also killed while 10 other security men were injured in the clash which started last night and continued till this morning.
The toll in the Maoists' side could climb up as the rebels carried away the bodies of their comrades, the sources said.
