Hyderabad, Aug 14: Warning of a 'massive nation-wide agitation' for construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya, Bajrang Dal today said people would teach a "fitting lesson" to BJP at the elections for "back-tracking" on its pre-poll temple promise.
The course and shape of the proposed agitation would be decided at a meeting of 'Margadarshak Mandal' of the saints, slated to be held on September 13-14 in Delhi, Bajrang Dal national convenor Prakash Sharma told reporters here.
"The peaceful agitation will be on such a big scale that all political parties would be forced to spell out whether they stand for temple at Ram janmasthan or not," Sharma said.
As part of the agitation, two crore people across the country are being mobilised to take a pledge to work for realisation of Ram temple and pictures of Ram temple model and audio cassettes are being distributed in every village, he said.
Lashing out at NDA leadership for expressing inability to get a legislation on temple passed by Parliament, he said "Hindu samaj is prepared for any sacrifices to realise the dream of a grand temple for Lord Ram at his birthplace. It will be built on the strength of Hindus".

Accusing BJP of seeking political mileage by appeasing both Muslims and Hindus at the same time, Sharma warned that such a course would prove counter-productive for the party at the time of elections.
