Lucknow, Feb 21: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly today adjourned sine die after a 10-day budget session. Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, leader of the opposition Lalji Tandon and BSP Legislature Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya expressed satisfaction over the session.
Yesterday, the house passed the budget proposal for the next financial year, which was presented by the chief minister on February 11.
The House, which assembled on February 4, undertook 51 hrs of business, while opposition stalled the proceedings of the assembly for over 15 hrs.
