New Delhi, Oct 27: Congress today said it would be contesting all the 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh and the first list of candidate could be released within two to three days. "The party would be fielding candidates for all the 230 assembly seats in the state. The first list of candidates for the state could be released within two to three days," AICC general secretary in-charge of the state Ambika Soni told reporters after a an five-hour marathon meeting of the central election committee of the party here. Asked about a possible tie-up with BSP, Soni said the party had not received any "formal" proposal from the party. With the ongoing exercise, she said Congress was ahead of time to finalise its candidates as compared to previous occasions when candidates were decided just before the nominations. Bureau Report
