Jakarta, July 14: Two successive explosions today rocked Indonesia's National Parliament building in Jakarta but no one was hurt, police said. "There were two blasts reported at Parliament but there were no casualties, only some glass panels were shattered," said an officer at a nearby police station.

He had no information on what caused the explosions but said a bomb squad had been sent to the scene.

The Detikcom online news service, quoting a security guard, said the explosions occurred while the air conditioning system was being tested. Parliament is on its summer break at present.
