Parlakhemundi (Orissa), June 17: Police have seized a number of arms and ammunitions from a Naxalite camp in Ludingi village under Mandimera Panchayat in Gajapati district, official sources said today. Sleuths of Orissa Special Armed Police (OSAP) raided the hideout of Chasi Mulia Samiti, a frontal organisation of the People's War, headed by Sabyasachi Panda, in the village and seized some explosives, a country-made gun, catridges and some leaflets last night, they said.
However, Panda and 14 other members of the organisation including a few women, managed to escape, the sources said.
Combing operations in the area were still continuing, they said. Bureau Report
