Hudco contributes Rs 53.31 crore dividend for 2002-2003
New Delhi, Jan 31: The Housing and Urban Development Corporation has paid a dividend of Rs 24.07 crore to the government, taking its total dividend in 2003-03 to Rs 53.51 crore.

The cheque for this amount was presented to Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani by Urban Development Minister Bandaru Dattatreya at a function here.
The dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 29.24 crore paid by Hudco to the government.
Continuing with its commendable all round performance during the first two quarters of the current year, Hudco posted a net profit of Rs 107.06 crore for the third quarter ending on December 31. The net profit for the first nine months of the current fiscal ending December 31 stood at Rs 286.51 crore which was a jump of 96 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
