New Delhi, Jun 02: Delhi Police have arrested four persons involved in circulation of fake currency and recovered counterfeit notes worth Rs 25,000. Mehraj, Fahimuddin Malik and Nafeez along with another person were arrested in Nand Nagri area of north east Delhi last night, deputy commissioner of police (NE), Praveer Ranjan said. The fake currency was in the denomination of Rs 50 and Rs 100, he said, adding preliminary investigations revealed such notes were brought from Shahjehanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Further investigations were on to ascertain whether there is an international link, Ranjan said.
