Security forces noticed movement of a group of militants trying to infiltrate into this side from across the line of control in Poonch sector on Saturday. On being challenged, the ultras opened fire and in retaliatory action six of them were killed, they said. The operation was continuing. In another incident during the period, security forces shot dead a Paksitani militant Abdullah Ansari in Kandi forest in Rajouri district, the sources said. An AK 56 rifle along with three magazines and 60 rounds, one hand grenade and a diary were recovered from the slain militant. Security forces busted a militant hide out in Mahumangat area of Doda on Saturday night and recovered an AK 56 rifle with five magazines and 110 rounds, two time pencil bombs, one hand grenade, six pouches, three batteries and one printed letter pad of Hizbul-Mujahideen outfit, they added.
