Bhopal, Nov 16: Considered by many as BJP`s Hindutva mascot, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is set to kick start party`s poll campaign in Madhya Pradesh with a series of meetings on November 18 as electioneering is poised to reach a crescendo with the completion of nomination process.

Known for his hard-hitting speeches, Modi would addressing some half-a dozen public meetings in districts including Dhar and Jhabuagn considered to be communally-sensitive, besides Indore.
Modi, who had stormed into power in his home state in the elections held after the Godhra carnage and the subsequent riots, is slated to address meetings at Badwani, Rajpur, Jhabua, Badwah, Dhar and Indore city.
The Gujarat strongman is also expected to undertake a whirlwind tour criss-crossing the tribal areas adjoining the border with his state where BJP has been trying hard to make its presence felt.
The high voltage campaign in the coming days will also see stalwarts like Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and Congress president Sonia Gandhi make whistle-stop tours of the state.
The Prime Minister is likely to visit the state on November 19 to address election meetings in Jabalpur and Indore in the first round of his campaign to bolster BJP`s poll prospects.
For the ruling Congress in the state, its supremo Sonia Gandhi is likely to address three big election rallies between November 21 and 25.
