Hong Kong, May 07: South Korean World Cup star Ahn Jung Hwan scored twice as Yokohama Marinos crushed Vietnam's Binh Dinh 6-0 to take another step towards the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League.
Brazilian Dutra, Tatsuhiko Kubo, Daisuke Sakata and Daisuke Oku each chipped in with a goal apiece as the Marinos consolidated their position at the top of group G Wednesday.
"The result is not bad," said coach Takeshi Okada. "But I'm not satisfied with the way my team played. They don't have the winning mentality. We could have won by more than 10 goals because we had so many chances but we were too relaxed."
The win keeps Marinos clear of Seongnam Ilhwa by virtue of a superior goal difference as the two clubs battle it out for the group's sole place in the last eight.
Shanghai Shenua continued their resurgence under English coach Howard Wilkinson with a 1-0 win over last season's finalists Bec Tero of Thailand.

With neither side having any chance of qualifying for the last eight, the Chinese side won the game thanks to a late effort from substitute Li Dawei.
