Chandigarh, Oct 29: Shiromani Akali Dal president Parkash Singh Badal today hinted that he might approach the Union government to be watchful of the activities of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh as 'time was approaching for skeletons to tumble out of his closet'. "Time is approaching fast when skeletons of sleaze and corruption will tumble out of the closet of the Chief Minister and those around him. They are racing against time," a statement quoting the former chief minister said here.
Reacting to reports that the Vigilance Bureau was sounding a red alert to prevent him from leaving the country, he said he and other members of his family would be available amidst the people of Punjab all the time.
"I want to assure Amarinder that even if I had an unavoidable personal need to go abroad, I will not go till the Chief Minister had been made to pay for his crimes against the Akalis. We are here to stay and fight," he said.
On the reports of vigilance bureau getting ready with a challan against the Badals, the Akali leader said, "We are waiting for them. Let them come whenever they want. We are glad that by filing a challan, he will provide us with an opportunity to call him bluff." Bureau Report
