New Delhi, Sept 26: Former Uttar Pradesh Minister Amar Mani Tripathi, arrested in connection with poetess Madhumita Shukla murder case, has agreed to undergo a lie detector test, his counsel Gaurav Mishra, announced today. Tripathi, who was arrested on September 21 by the CBI, had been brought to Delhi for interrogation.
He had earlier said that he would go through a lie detector test if found medically fit. The Samajwadi Party legislator was served with a notice by the CBI yesterday that if he declined to undergo the test, it could go against him. Meanwhile, the CBI has also questioned Madhumita's domestic help Deshraj in connection with the murder.
