Jammu, Jan 20: Pakistani rangers today resorted to heavy small arms firing to disrupt ongoing border fencing work and injured a BSF driver along international border in Jammu sector, according to official sources here.

Pakistani rangers fired indiscriminately on the labourer and officials involved in the border fencing work at Nikowal, Lortana Khurd along the IB in R S Pura sub-sector of Jammu since last night, the sources said.
One BSF driver, who was helping the border fencing work, was hit and injured by a volley of bullet fired by rangers from Pak posts, they said. The injured BSF man was shifted to a hospital and is reported to be out of danger, the sources added.
