Lucknow, Nov 14: Waqar Ahmad Shah of Samajwadi Party was today elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. The announcement to this effect was made by Speaker Kesri Nath Tripathi in the assembly.
Tripathi belongs to BJP.
