Mumbai, Oct 08: The US-based software marketing services major Atlantic Crossing Inc has launched its operations in India, with opening an office in the city, and expects to help Indian companies to raise $1 million in the current fiscal through its `Assist India' programme. "We intend to help Indian companies, who have developed software and customised solutions, to sell these in global markets through our channels", Atlantic Crossing director Ritika Hiranandani said here on Tuesday.
Adequate resources, lack of geographical and cultural knowledge are some of the facts that hinder an Indian company to sell their products overseas, she said, adding Atlantic Crossing through its relationships would help an Indian firm sell its products in US and UK markets.

The company has opened its office at Bandra and is planning to have a presence in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore, she said, adding, "software industry is blooming in the southern parts of the country".
The marketing services major also conducts due diligence studies on markets and products, apart from providing acquisition, buyout and joint venture information for Indian companies, she said. Bureau Report
