New Delhi: The first family of Bollywood—Kapoors have had a great cinematic journey in the Hindi film industry. Right from Prithiviraj Kapoor to now current crop Ranbir—the Kapoor khandaan has delivered some of the bestest ventures. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor today took to Twitter and remembered his father, the legendary showman Raj Kapoor.

Rishi paid a tribute to his father on his 28th death anniversary, tweeting a wonderful caption and picture of the late legendary filmmaker-cum-actor.



Raj Kapoor died on June 2, 1988 at the age of 63. The 63-year-old actor also changed his Twitter handle to "rahenge sada" which is the lyrics of a famous Raj Kapoor song "Jeena Yaha Marna Yaha" from the film "Mera Naam Joker".


Raj Kapoor, known as the "Showman of Hindi cinema", has starred in films including "Awara", "Shree 420", "Boot Polish", "Sangam" among others.
