SEs should amend rules for trading arms: Sebi
Mumbai, June 04: Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has asked the stock exchanges who have set up trading subsidiaries to amend rules to ensure that only brokers eligible to trade on the parent bourse use subsidiary`s platform for trading.
Mumbai, June 04: Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has asked the stock exchanges who have set up trading subsidiaries to amend rules to ensure that only brokers eligible to trade on the parent bourse use subsidiary's platform for trading.
Sebi, in its communication to exchanges, said that some bourses which have set up subsidiaries have not made the necessary provisions in this regard.
The exchanges should communicate the status on implementation of this directive to Sebi through monthly development report for the June 2003.
