New Delhi, Sept 30: Your career in Hindi films has developed rather gradually — from bits-and-pieces roles to a leading lady. Did you, at any point of time, think of going in for a conventional launch as most heroines do?
No, not at all. I strongly believe that one can’t plan one’s career. One should grasp an understanding of the direction in which things are moving and then leave it at that. I never nursed the ambition of being launched like a conventional heroine — instead, I picked up films which I liked and here I am.
