Sydney, July 04: Audley Harrison will return to the scene of his greatest triumph for his next fight on 6 August. The heavyweight will fight in Sydney, where he won the Olympic gold medal in 2000, on the undercard of the WBA super-middleweight clash between Anthony Midine and Antwan Echols.
The fighter's business manager, Hazel Bruno-Gilbert, said the opponent for the eight-round bout - which will be shown on BBC television - would be announced shortly.
"Audley was victorious in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, when he bought home Britain's first gold medal in boxing for 32 years," she added.

"He's excited that he has the opportunity to return Down Under and showcase his talents as an 11-0 undefeated professional."

Harrison will shortly be heading over to Big Bear, California, to begin training under the eye of Thell Torrence before heading to Sydney 10 days before the fight.
