An emotional Salman Khan broke down soon after the Bombay High Court acquitted him of all charges in the 13 year old hit-and-run case.

Mumbai: Salman Khan broke down after Bombay High Court acquitted the Bollywood superstar of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case on Thursday.

His sister Alvira and manager Reshma too were moved to tears after the verdict was announced, reported DNA.

Soon after the actor broke down, he was consoled by his family and friends who had accompanied him for the hearing. The Bombay High Court’s verdict came as a huge relief not just to the actor and his family but millions of fans across the globe.

The actor also went and thanked his defence team for their support.
