Govt committed to introduce a new education policy
Aluva, May 23: Kerala education minister Nalakath Soopy today said the udf government was committed to introduce a new education policy in the state.

a new education policy in the state.
Speaking to reporters here today, he said Kerala has
become the first state to complete examinations in schools and
colleges and announce the results in a time bound manner.
Steps would be taken to avoid excess political activities in the campus, he said.
The syllabus of first, second, third and ninth standards were changed this year he said adding steps were taken to distribute about four crores of text books for about 50 lakh students in the schools, at the time of reopening of schools after summer vacation. Bureau Report
