Villupuram (TN), Sept 19: The three-day district conference of the DMK, which began here today, will discuss the national political scenario and plan the party's electoral strategies for the next Lok Sabha polls, party president M Karunanidhi said here today. The conference would discuss, among other things, the 'misuse' of Pota by state government and would pass a resolution specifying the agitation against Pota misuse, he told reporters after a meeting of the party's high-level action committee here. Asked whether the discussions at the conference would have an echo at the national political scene, Karunanidhi said it was for the people and the intelligentsia to decide about it. Bureau Report
