Allahabad, June 11: Four cows were allegedly poisoned to death in a village near Naini here sparking tension in the area, police said today. The cows, belonging to farmers, were grazing in Piparaon village, when they were allegedly poisoned by some unidentified persons yesterday, police said. The miscreants also skinned the animals, they said adding the cows were poisoned with an intention to whip up communal tension in the area. As the news spread like wild fire, hundreds of people gathered in the village demanding immediate arrest of the miscreants.
