Indore, June 30: Congress observers today met party leaders here to prepare a report on possible winning candidates from various assembly constituencies in the district. The observers, Ushaben Thakkar and Shamsher Singh Dhullo, who are camping at Gandhi Bhawan, Congress headquarters in the city, met party leaders interested in contesting polls from assembly constituencies of the district, Congress sources said. Of the five seats in Indore city, Congress represents three seats in the present assembly and the BJP two. The three seats in rural areas (Sanver, Depalpur and Mhow) are also represented by Congress candidates. The observers are holding parleys with ticket seekers for Ujjain and Indore districts, the sources said.
They will submit their report to congress high command after screening ticket seekers and ascertaining their chances of winning. Bureau Report
