Srinagar, Aug 3: Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in the frontier district of Kupwara early today, official sources said here. The militants were killed by troops of 18 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry regiment of the Army following a gunbattle in the forest area of Chowkibal area in the district along the Line of Control, the sources said adding the identity of the ultras could not be ascertained as yet. Two AK rifles, eight magazines and some ammunition were recovered from the site of the encounter, they said. Bureau Report
