Curfew relaxed in Parbhani, Nanded
Parbhani, Maharashtra, Nov 29: Curfew was relaxed in the city and Itwara locality at 0500 hrs today with no untoward incidents being reported in both the areas.

District collector Madhukar Chaudhary said the situation had
remained absolutely normal during the night and no untoward
incidents had been reported so far.
Special Inspector General (IG) of Police B N Raut said the state Director General of Police S M Shangari was to arrive in the city today.
Mr Shangari during his visit to the city, will hold a meeting of top police officials including the Superintendent of Police (SP) of all the eight districts from the region during the day, as a part of the law and order review.
The DGP, while speaking to reporters at Aurangabad, the divisional headquarters of Marathwada, expressed satisfaction over the maintenance of law and order by the police officials in the trouble-torn Parbhani and Nanded area.
The sensitive localities in the two towns had witnessed violent incidents after the bomb attack on a place of worship at Parbhani. At least 39 persons were injured in the attack and one of them Abdul Samad Abdul Jabbar (35) succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Hyderabad yesterday.
Meanwhile, the situation was normal in neighbouring Nanded during the past 24 hours, and the night curfew, re-imposed at the Itwara locality at 2300 hrs, was relaxed from 0500 hrs, Home Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) B L Bharati told.
