New Delhi, Mar 05: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today insisted the Bharatiya Janata Party to include the issues such as the Ram Mandir construction and the common civil code in the ``vision document`` of the BJP. The BJP assured that these issues may be considered for inclusion in the document but not in the NDA agenda.

Top RSS and BJP leaders met today at the residence of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and took stock of the prevailing situation in the country. The Sangh leadership said its Swayamsevaks as enlightened citizens would work and campaign for the success of the `nationalist forces` in the coming elections. The leaders felt that the feedback so far was that there was no anti-incumbency factor against the Vajpayee government and the Swayamsevaks will have no major problem in convincing the voters to support the BJP-led NDA coalition.

However, the RSS insisted that the BJP`s `vision document` should include issues of national concern such as laying stress on swadeshi, kisans and labour and other socio-economic issues.

The RSS will have separate discussions with Arun Jaitley, the chairman of the vision document, to convey the concerns, RSS leader Madan Das Devi told newspersons after the meeting. BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu said there was no question of giving up issues like Ram Mandir at Ayodhya as it was very much part of the party`s agenda. However, a solution will have to be found through dialogue between the leaders of two communities, he further said.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, Naidu and Sanjay Joshi of the BJP and Mohan Bhagawat, Bhaiya Joshi, H V Seshadri of the RSS.
