New Delhi, Sept 06: One passenger was today killed and many others injured when four coaches of Dehradun-New Delhi Janshatabdi Express derailed near Saharanpur in UP.Helpline numbers: Delhi-011-23344128/23342954, 23341074 Saharanpur: 0132-2648327/2648453 The exact number of injured passengers was not immediately known, Northern Railway sources said.
The derailment occurred between Deoband and Rohana sections around 8.25 am about three hours after the train left Dehradun at 5.10 am for Delhi, they said.
Rescue and relief operations have begun with teams of doctors reaching the site from Saharanpur and Delhi, the sources said.

Train movement on the section has been affected due to the mishap.
A Northern Railway spokesman said the dead included a vendor. An accident relief van and medical relief train have reached the site, he said.
The spokesman said repair of the track and restoration of traffic on the section would take sometime.
Railway Board chairman R K Singh and general manager, Northern Railway, R R Jaruhar, accompanied by senior officials have left Delhi for the accident site.
