New Delhi, Oct 10: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) and a partner have won an almost $22 million order to set up a 12 megawatt hydroelectric power project in India's eastern Mizoram state. The state-run Bhel and MECON, another government firm, were given the order by the Power and Electricity Department of the Mizoram government, Bhel said in a statement on Friday.
Bhel, owned 67.72 per cent by the federal government, said the project would be near the state's main city Aizawl and was due to be completed in 48 months. Bureau Report
