US IT company to invest $4 million in Kerala

Dubai, Oct 23: Infovista Technology Solutions (ITS), a top-end us IT firm, is to invest four million US dollars in the Infopark Technology Park at Kakkanadu near Kochi over a period of five years.
ITS, a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of the California-based Infovista Technology, a leading software development and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions provider, concluded the agreement on the sidelines of the Gitex 2004 here, K G Girish Babu, Infopark chief executive officer said.
The company intends to make an initial investment of 200,000 dollars for the next quarter (of this year) towards their centre to be located at Infopark, the largest information technology park in India, Samir Rahman, president, Infovista technology said.
Infovista's planned global delivery centre at Kochi will have the capability to serve businesses and offices in the United States and also in the Middle East and Australia.
