New Delhi: Award winning Hollywood director Mike Nichols has passed away. He was 83.

Reports in leading international news networks say that he suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Wednesday. 


He is known for his many movies including 'Working Girl', 'The Remains of the Day', 'Silkwood', 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf' and the cult classic 'The Graduate'.


Mike has won the highest awards in the film industry including Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony award. His last movie was  'Charlie Wilson's War' which starred Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.
