Buenos Aires (Argentina), Sept 11: Guillermo Coria, Argentina's highest-ranked player, will not compete in the Davis Cup semifinals against Spain because of a muscle injury, officials said today. Coria, the world no. 5, complained of muscle pains in his left leg after his quarterfinals loss to Andre Agassi at the US Open last week. A spokesman for the Argentine Tennis Association said coach Gustavo Luza was expected to name a replacement for Coria in the coming days.

David Nalbandian, Agustin Calleri and Gaston Claudio will make up the rest of Argentina's lineup when it faces Spain September 19 to 21 in Malaga, Spain.
