Top party leaders have been discussing the case and the various possible decisions that could be taken, party sources said.
The issue had also apparently figured at the four-hour long meeting of RSS-BJP leaders on Saturday last at the residence of BJP President M Venkaiah Naidu which was also attended by Advani.
However, none of the leaders were prepared to comment on the matter except to say they are following a wait and watch attitude.
Special Judge V K Singh had on September 12 announced this after defence counsel filed his objections to the CBI's written arguments.
