New Delhi, July 26: Containing several features on the pilgrim centres of India and dedicated sheets on major trains, the Ministry of Railways all India time-table `Trains at a glance' for the current year has come into force from July 01, 2003. Like in the past, this time too the time table contains a train index which has not only been arranged number-wise but name-wise (alphabetically), an official release said today adding this would serve as a quick reference for people familiar only with the train name.
To improve readability of "Trains at a glance", now in its 27th year of publication, different types of trains are placed in different coloured columns.
While the Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Jan Shatabdi Express trains are indicated in pink coloured columns, the superfast trains have been indicated in yellow coloured columns.
Other ordinary mail/express train services are marked in blue coloured columns, as done in the previous issue, it said.
Further, trains in a particular table have been arranged chronologically, as per their departure time. Retaining all the user-friendly features of previous year's time table, the current issue has been suitably updated for train index and station index. Bureau Report
