Kohima, Oct 29: `Politics made me forget poetry,` Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee remarked on Wednesday at the end of his busy three-day visit to Nagaland.

Asked at a press conference whether he enjoyed his stay and whether the picturesque Nagaland inspired him to write some poems, Vajpayee said, "Rajniti mein reh kar mai kavita bhool gaya (politics made me forget poetry)."
The Prime Minister, who was meeting reporters before leaving for Delhi after a three-day visit to the state, said that he enjoyed his stay here.
