Moga, July 29: Former Punjab Chief Minister and SAD Chief Parkash Singh Badal lashed out at Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, saying he was trying to harass him by using the Vigilance Bureau. Addressing a meeting of sad workers at Kotkapura in Faridkot district last evening, Badal alleged that Singh was misusing the vigilance bureau to harass him instead of relying on the Lok Pal or forming a commission to look into the issue. "Instead of following such method as followed by all the states, the Punjab Chief Minister has started misusing the Vigilance Bureau to harass me," he claimed. The Vigilence Bureau, according to Badal, could not conduct an impartial enquiry as it was functioning at the behest of the Chief Minister. Badal also called upon the people of the state to be united in rejecting the congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections as previous congress governments at the Centre have not been sincere in solving the problems of the state.
