Karnataka ministers deny code of conduct violation
Bangalore, Mar 25: Two Karnataka ministers and state`s special representative in New Delhi, enjoying a cabinet minister rank, have clarified to the election commission (EC) that they had not violated the model code of conduct.

Sudarshan said had replied to the show cause notice by the
EC. Food and civil supplies minister Ramalinga Reddy and
primary education minister Prof B K Chandrasekhar clarified that
they had not announced any new programme or scheme and had only
mentioned the existing schemes at a recent press conference.
Stating that he had not said anything on old age pension scheme or pension for widows as claimed, Reddy said ''I had not violated the code of conduct.''
